Maple Energy Balls

Helloooo Fall! 🍂 I'm super excited to create recipes with some of my favorite fall flavors, one of them being Maple! Maple energy balls 🍁✨What better way to kick off the new season than with this delicious treat? These no-bake balls taste like maple syrup and are packed with healthy goodness for more energy. (I for one, can always use a bit more energy;) This classic flavor is popping up everywhere again and for a good reason! Not only is it yummy, but maple syrup is loaded with minerals like riboflavin, zinc, magnesium, calcium, and potassium. You also add your choice of nut butter, flax seeds, oats, and almonds for more even more deliciousness to these balls.

I use my favorite Organic Maple Syrup 🍁from @sprouts. Nothing tastes like the real deal maple syrup that I know for sure. So much fall goodness in one little ball 😍 This recipe is good for you, and they only take 10 minutes to make! Oh, and they are my husbands favorite 💕:) GET THE RECIPE 👉🏼 Click the link in my bio, or IG story or visit Lauren-Lane.com

Maple Energy Balls

Fall 🍂 is here, and I'm excited to create recipes with some of my favorite fall flavors, one of them being Maple! Maple energy balls 🍁✨ What better way to kick off the new season than with this delicious treat? These no-bake balls taste like maple syrup are packed with healthy goodness for more energy.
Prep time: 10 MinTotal time: 10 Min

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup old fashioned oats (or quick oats)
  • 2 Tablespoons flax seeds or flax meal
  • 1/2 cup nut butter of your choice.  I used peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (I used sprouts organic)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chops
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut to roll the balls in (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place 3/4 cup oats, 2 Tablespoons flax, 1/2 cup nut butter, 1/4 cup chocolate chips, 1/4 cup almonds to a food processor and blend until finely chopped.
  2. Drizzle in maple syrup and blend.
  3. If the mixture seems too wet, add a bit more oats. If it's too dry, add a bit more maple syrup. The dough should hold when together squeezed.
  4. Form the dough into balls of your desired size. (I use a spoon to make mine approximately 1 inch in diameter). Enjoy!

Notes:

Store leftover energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months. For nut allergies: In place of the nut butter, try sunflower seed butter.
