Easy 6 Ingredient Lemon Bars

 
 

Lemon bars are one of the best make-ahead recipes for sweet treats for entertaining or to have around the house. But the trick in making lemon bars is how to get the perfect balance between the buttery and sweet shortbread crust with the gooey, tart, and sweet (but not too sweet!) very lemony filling. The other part of the equation is how much crust there is to lemon filling. I LOVE crust, so for me, this recipe is perfect. There aren’t that many ingredients (only SIX!), so the perfect ratio is key. It’s taken me a little time to get there, but I love this fabulous lemon bar recipe, and (hopefully) you will too.
