Whether you are having friends and family at home or taking treats to a party these make these delicious classic Cranberry Meatballs for the holidays. Completely semi-homemade, super simple and bursting with savory-sweet flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 12 ounce bag of frozen meatballs or homemade
- 2 cups cranberry sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoon brown sugar (packed)
- 2 tablespoons orange juice or lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons chopped parsley, optional
- Crushed red pepper, optional
Instructions
- Cook meatballs and use an instant-read thermometer to 150-160 F degrees. (I use Lightning by @thermopro )
- While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the sauce. Add all the sauce ingredients, except parsley, in a large skillet, stir, and cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Turn down the heat and stir in the meatballs. Cook until heated through.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
