Easy Peach Cobbler with Caramel Sauce

This easy peach cobbler with Caramel Sauce only takes 15 minutes to put together and makes its own caramel sauce. You can't beat that! Save this recipe because you can also use apples this fall. Enjoy

PS: be sure to use an 8x8 baking dish; the one I used was a bit small and could have made a mess!

Peach Caramel Cobbler

Easy, peach cobbler with a built-in caramel sauce! Perfect all peach season.
Prep time: 15 MinCook time: 40 MinTotal time: 55 Min

Ingredients

  • 2 medium peaches, each cut into 8 wedges, pit removed
  • 8-ounce refrigerated Pillsbury crescent roll dough
  • 1 stick unsalted or salted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 3/4 cup citrus Orange soda, Fresca soda or lemon-lime
  • Ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Coat an 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. (don't try a smaller dish or it will overflow...trust me, I know)
  3. Separate the crescent dough into 8 triangles.
  4. Place 2 peach wedges near the wide end of the dough triangle, then roll up. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon; Microwave until melted and stir until smooth.
  6. Drizzle butter mixture over the dough.
  7. Pour the soda to the sides of the peach rolls (not on top) so a nice crust is formed while baking.
  8. Bake until golden brown and peaches are tender when pierced with a fork, about 35-40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let stand 10 minutes.
  9. Serve for dessert with some vanilla ice cream

Notes

  • I don't peel the peaches but feel free if you'd like.
  • The recipe can be doubled, but use a 9x13 dish
