How to Make the viral Butter Candle

Butter Candles are great for entertaining or to share with a friend. So easy and so much fun!
Prep time: 30 MinTotal time: 30 Min

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/8-1/4 cup white or brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • serve with a toasted baguette, pastry or bagels

Instructions

  1. Soften butter to room temperature and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add salt and sugar and cinnamon and combine.
  3. Cut a small hole in the bottom of the cup. String a length of edible wick through cup hole.
  4. Fill the cup with the softened butter mixture, making sure the wick remains centered. Refrigerate the cup until butter is firm.
  5. Cut the cup off the candle and place onto a serving plate. Trim the wick if needed.
  6. Light the candle, allow the butter to start melting. Dip your dippers into the butter and enjoy

Notes

Use salted or unsalted butter

Add more or less cinnamon as desired
