Football Party Recipes & Chicken Wings Charcuterie Board
Looking for lots of football party ideas? Well, I have lots for you here including my NO-Cook Wing Grazing Board.
Especially great for game days but a wing is good anyway, am I right?
Today, I will show you how to get help from your grocery store and show you how to create a gorgeous board that everyone will be talking about.
I start with three kinds of pre-made wings from Hen House Market and various dips and munchies to get things moving in the right direction. Hey, some days just aren’t for cooking and there is no shame in taking a little help….I do! But the trick is giving these store-bought lovelies a little of your own panache. Everyone needs a little panache with t their foot party, and I right?
How-To Make a Chicken Wings Charcuterie Board
Pick a platter, cutting board or sheet pan for your wing board. You want it big enough to hold everything but still look full.
Wings: I used BBQ, Buffalo and Simple Seasoning, but choose what you love.
Sauces: Feel free to use store-bought sauces, but put them in little bowls. They look more delicious that way. Sauces serve a dual purpose. They are perfect for dipping both the wings and the veggies! I bought Wilson’s sauce (if you know you know @johnnys ), BBQ, and of course, my almost famous homemade ranch dressing! (see below)
Veggies & Extras Have you ever wondered why cut-up veggies are so great with wings, especially spicy wings?? Cut-up veggies, such as celery and carrots, are great because they help to neutralize the flavor or heat in between bites—allowing you to enjoy your next bite even more! Celery
Radishes
Gherkin Pickles
Bell Peppers (red and gold for the Chiefs of course)
Olives
Cucumber
Carrots
Radishes
Pickle Slices
Black Olives
Arrange:
Arrange
First, set down your dip bowls towards the middle of the platter
Next, arrange the 3 types of wings in 3 sections around the platter. You want the same flavor of wings grouped tougher. Its no time for wing roulette!
Between each set of wings, add your produce, again in big bunches (i.e. carrots, celery, etc)
Finally, fill in the gaps with your olives, pickles and peppers, and even herbs for a little flair.
Now serve and munch away at your foot ball party!
