A couple more notes:
It’s best to make it at least 4 hours ahead-of time but it’s even better if left over night.
Don’t add ice until ready to serve.
You don’t need expensive wine for a sangria. An under $20. table wine is just fine.
When serving the sangria, be sure to get some of the macerated fruit in each glass, it’s delish!
I serve this in any type glass I’m feeling at the time! No rules here;)
Easy Red Wine Sangria Variations:
Switch up the wines: Red wine is classic, but if you’re a fan of white wine or moscato, either of those options work great.
Use any seasonal fruits: Think strawberries in the spring, pomegranate and cinnamon sticks during the holidays with a sprig of rosemary, in the fall think apples and pears. So much fun!
Add in herbs: Mix in mint, a cinnamon stick or sprigs of rosemary. This will add even more flavor and aroma to your sangria.
