Prep time: 20 MinCook time: 20 MinTotal time: 40 Min
Ingredients
- 1 (17.5 ounce) package of refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Fruit for decorating: strawberries, blueberries, bananas, whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a large tart pan with parchment paper. Or place a large round piece of parchment on a sheet pan. On the parchment, press the cookie dough into a large circle. Use flour or powdered sugar to keep your hands from sticking.
- Bake the cookie for 15 to 20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before decorating.
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla together. Mix until smooth.
- Prepare the fruit for decorating the cookie. Ensure fruit is washed, dried, and sliced (if needed).
- Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie. Decorate as desired with fruit.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve. Best if served immediately.
Notes
- To keep the bananas from turning brown when sliced, toss them in an acidic juice such as lemon, orange, or pineapple juice.
- Feel free to decorate this however you'd like. I sometimes just scatter red and blue berries to make it even easier.

- It's best served at room temperature.
Cinnamon Chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Combine cinnamon & sugar. Set aside.
- Stack a few tortillas and cut them into 12 wedges. Continue with the remaining tortillas.
- Spray slices with olive oil spray or brush with melted butter.
- Sprinkle each side lightly with the sugar mixture.
- Place on baking sheets and bake 8-13 minutes or until crisp. It will depend on the thickness of your tortillas. Flip during the cooking if needed.
Notes
- Note: I garnished with stars for the 4th of July by using a star cooking cutter and stamping slices of watermelon and granny smith. Super cute garnish but not necessary.
- Add more or less jalapeno as desired. The heat is really nice in this dish. I used a whole jalapeno.
