- 2-3 green onions, chopped

- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (or more to taste)
- 1-2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or other dried herbs
- dash freshly ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning
- 1 bag Pita Chips bagel chips or crackers
- 1 real pumpkin stem, or use a strip of pepper, celery, or pretzel rod to insert for a stem)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients (except bagel seasoning) to a medium mixing bowl. Mix with an electric hand mixer until smooth.
- Shape into a ball using greased hands.
- Roll the cheese ball in the bagel seasoning.
- Next, place the cheese ball on a double layer of plastic wrap, and pull the wrap up around the cheese ball and tie it tightly at the top to form a ball shape. Make a dent where the stem will go.
- Cut 6 pieces of string about 2 feet long each. Lay them in a star pattern over each other, place the wrapped cheese ball in the center and tie it up and around tightly to form the pumpkin shape.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours or overnight
- Unwrap about 30 minutes before serving. (room temperature cheese tastes better) And insert the pumpkin stem
- Serve with crackers, pita chips, or whatever you fancy.
