This Easy Sourdough Bread Bowl Recipe is perfect for any bread bowl filling, like my easy broccoli cheese soup recipe. The secret to homemade bread bowls that are better than Panera is toasting them so they don't get soggy! This will be your favorite bread bowl recipe. And you get croutons for your soups as well!
Ingredients
- Artisan bread rounds. I like sourdough but any type will work.
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Cut 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches from top of each bread round; scoop out the center and cut into croutons.
- Lightly coat the croutons and inside the bread bread bowl will olive oil. Sprinkle with Kosher salt,..
- Bake in the middle of the oven at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes or until toasted. (all ovens are different, but they are done when golden brown)
Notes
