Date Balls. My mum made these EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. I can’t believe it’s been 3 years without her, I didn’t even like date balls when I was younger, but now I treasure them!

That’s the thing about food; it doesn’t only taste delicious (although that’s very important😉), it conjures up a whole load of memories and is a very social aspect of all of our lives! That’s why Date Balls will ALWAYS make me smile.
